Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website. We're aiming to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Buttons and links are real buttons and links, so they work with screen readers and keyboards.
- Images have alt text describing what they show.
- Photo lightboxes and the project map can be used with a keyboard.
- If you've asked your device to reduce motion, the site respects that.
- Text and buttons are checked for colour contrast.
Known gaps
We're still checking:
- older PDF downloads, which may not be fully accessible
