The job

Three boilers and a clean roof finish.

We designed, supplied and installed a new boiler flue at The Vaynor First School in Redditch.

Three 110kW gas boilers connect into a Ø150 twin wall insulated header. The header runs about 4 metres, then rises about 6 metres through the roof.

Inside, the riser sits on a base tee with a drain and is held on strut fixed to the wall. On the roof, the stack has a mesh terminal and a strut bracket back to the upstand.
