How we work

What to expect working with us.

This is how a job runs, from enquiry to handover, and what you get at each step.

Each step shows the document you get. Click one to see it larger.

  1. Start here

Step 1: Send us your enquiry

Send drawings, photos or an outline of the job. If there isn't much to go on yet, we can price it from a survey.

What we need to price it

    • Appliance type and how many
    • Output in kW or kVA
    • Spigot or outlet sizes
    • Rough vertical and horizontal lengths
    • New flue or existing chimney
    • Where it terminates
    • Site location
  2. Normally within 24 hours

    Step 2: Your price

We price from your drawings or survey information. You can have it supply only, install only, or supply and install.

  3. Normally within a week of order

    Step 3: Order and survey

Once you order, one of our engineers visits site. They measure, sketch and photograph the route, so the design matches what is really there.

    Survey sketch. Example, details removed.
  4. Normally within 60 minutes of survey

    Step 4: Calculations and drawings

We size the flue and draw the full route in CAD, from the appliance to the terminal. If you need building control or chimney height approval, you or your consultant submit our calculations and drawings with the application.
