The job

A fan dilution flue with a plume filter.

We designed, supplied and installed a fan dilution flue system at a government office in Nottingham.

Two boilers and a water heater connect with Ø150 twin wall primaries into a Ø350 dilution header, about 2.5 metres above the plant room floor. The header runs about 10 metres with two bends.

A bifurcated fan with attenuators pushes the diluted flue gas out through a plume filter at least 2 metres above ground, with a pressure switch to prove the fan is running.
