The job

A new boiler flue in a city centre basement.

We designed, supplied and installed a new boiler flue for a restaurant in Newcastle in November 2020.

A single 120kW boiler sits in an old basement plant room. Its flue is a concentric twin wall system, with flue gases in the inner pipe and combustion air drawn down the space around it.

The flue rises about 7.5 metres from the boiler and finishes at a terminal on the roof behind the parapet.
