The job
Replacing leaking flues in two college plant rooms.
We designed, supplied and installed new boiler flues for two plant rooms at Halesowen College in early 2021, after the existing flues were found to be leaking.
The old flues were taken out first. We drew a new header arrangement for each plant room and provided our own access for the work.
In one plant room the new twin wall flue was powder coated grey to match the building. It rises through the plant room's flat roof and passes into the wall of the main building on a sealed wall plate, then continues up to a terminal on the main roof.
