The job
Two steam boiler flues through a factory roof.
We designed, supplied and installed separate flues for two steam boilers at a waste treatment site in Glasgow.
Each boiler connects through a 45° elbow into a 135° tee, with a soot collector and drain at the base of each stack. The flues are twin wall insulated, Ø300 inside and Ø360 outside.
Both stacks rise through the roof to open terminals with mesh guards, 3 metres above roof level. We also supplied and fitted the combustion air ducting.
