The job

A new header and chimney liner for a Stamford school.

We designed, supplied and installed a new boiler flue for a school in Stamford, reusing the existing brick chimney.

Three 150kW condensing boilers rise into a Ø200 twin wall insulated header. The header runs at high level to a base tee and drain inside the chimney.

The chimney, about 14 metres tall, was lined with a Ø200 stainless steel flexible liner up to the terminal. The photos are from our survey of the old plant room and chimney.
