The job

A short, neat boiler flue through a school roof.

We designed, supplied and installed a new boiler flue at a primary school in Leicester.

Three 100kW condensing boilers feed a Ø180 header. Our twin wall insulated flue takes over at a tee with a drain, then rises through the plant room ceiling on drop rod supports to a terminal on the flat roof. The whole flue is short, about 2 metres up and under 2 metres across.

The roof penetration was sealed with a stainless weathering collar and flashing plate.
