The job
Re-routing two boiler flues outside.
New flues for two 140 kW boilers at Duffield Bank House in Derby.
We took the old flue out of the plant room and re-routed it to the back wall, rising 1 m above the roof.
We did the builders' work ourselves: two core holes, with plates on the inside and outside walls.
Access was a tower we brought and tied into the wall.
