The job
Two long runs and a brick shaft.
We designed, supplied and installed two new flue systems at Moulton School in Northampton, one for the boilers and one for the water heater.
The boilers share a Ø150 twin wall header. The water heater has its own Ø100 header. Each system has about 14 metres of horizontal run across the plant room ceiling.
Both flues then rise about 7.5 metres up a brick shaft, held on strut, and finish with stainless cowls with mesh.
