The job
A new exhaust for a telephone exchange generator.
We designed, supplied and installed a new exhaust flue for the standby generator at a telephone exchange in Ellesmere Port in March 2022.
We surveyed the existing exhaust on the roof and drew the new route from what we found. The new flue is 250mm twin wall insulated, built for the heat and pressure of a generator exhaust. It runs about 12 metres across the roof and rises about 6.5 metres.
We supplied all the strut and fixings and our own access up to 3.1 metres working height.
