The job

An exhaust extension for a caged generator.

We designed, supplied and installed an exhaust flue extension for a 187kW standby generator at Creek Road in June 2023.

The insulated twin wall flue, Ø150 inside, runs about 6.5 metres at high level under the plant deck on strut supports.

It turns through a 90° and a 45° elbow and finishes on a horizontal terminal that discharges through the security mesh of the generator compound.
