The job

Replacing a generator exhaust on an old brick building.

We designed, supplied and installed a new insulated exhaust flue for the standby generator at a telephone exchange in Holloway, London, in 2023.

The new Ø350 flue picks up from the silencer on a flanged connection with a test point, then runs out of the building and rises up the outside wall.

At the top it sets over onto the roof through a pair of 45° bends and finishes on a horizontal terminal. The work was signed off by the customer in September 2023.
