The job
A new boiler header into a school chimney.
A new boiler flue for the plant upgrade at Moray Primary School in Grangemouth.
A stainless header on drop rods collects the flues from the boilers and runs across the plant room to the existing chimney stack.
On the final visit we connected the flue to the chimney, fitted the cap ends and the last bracket, and capped the rods and strut. The smoke test passed with no visible leakage. The condensate drain points are left for others to trap and pipe away.
